Huntr is a strong free choice for organizing a search: a visual tracker, resume tailoring and autofill. AI Apply goes a step further on the application itself, submitting it for you on the careers site, and pairs it with employee referrals.
AI Apply
Huntr
What it does
AI Apply
Fills out and submits a job application for you on the company's own careers site, with a cover letter written for that job. You pick each job on the refer.me job board.
Huntr
A kanban job tracker with AI resume tailoring, cover letters, a contact tracker and a Chrome extension that autofills applications in one click.
Submits applications for you?
AI Apply
Yes. AI Apply presses Submit, then emails you how each application went.
Huntr
Huntr describes one-click autofill. Its site does not describe submitting applications for you.
Workday & company career sites
AI Apply
Yes. Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby and more, including creating an account when the site needs one. It can't finish a site that shows a CAPTCHA.
Huntr
Autofill works on "1000's of sites", including LinkedIn, Indeed and employer websites, per Huntr. No application system is named.
Employee referrals
AI Apply
Yes. refer.me Premium includes 40 referral requests a month to employees at the company.
Huntr
Not listed on its site. Its contact tracker keeps the people you add.
Price
AI Apply
Premium is $39 a month, or $149 a year with a 7-day free trial. It includes 5 AI Apply credits a month.
Huntr
Pro is $40 a month, $90 every 3 months or $160 every 6 months.
Free tier
AI Apply
Yes. 1 AI Apply credit a month. An application AI Apply can't finish doesn't use a credit.
Huntr
Yes. Always free, with tracking for up to 100 jobs and application autofill.
You want a visual board to track every application, free for up to 100 jobs.
You want to tailor resumes and fill forms yourself.
You want applications submitted for you, including on Workday.
You want an employee referral to go with the application.
Answers work authorization and sponsorship questions from where you live and what you saved, and asks you once when it needs to.
