Your Role We’re looking for Product Engineers early in their career who operate with high agency, strong ownership, and deep curiosity. This is not a scoped, ticket-driven role. You’ll work directly with the founders to define product direction, build core systems, and ship end-to-end experiences. You might be a fit if you: Take full ownership of problems—from idea to production Are relentlessly curious and think from first principles Move quickly, make decisions, and iterate without perfect specs Care deeply about product quality, UX, and craft Thrive in ambiguity and low-structure environments Technical expectations: 2–4 years of experience building production web applications Proficiency in modern web stacks (e.g. TypeScript, React, Next.js, or similar) Experience with backend systems and APIs (e.g. Node, Python, Flask, or similar) Comfortable working with data-intensive applications and distributed systems Ability to pick up new technologies quickly and move across the stack as needed Solid understanding of performance, system design, and scalability Experience building and shipping production systems This is a hybrid in-office role in San Mateo, CA.
