Role Overview:
Aeva is seeking a Senior Automotive Reliability & EMC Test Engineer to own validation and compliance testing for automotive LiDAR systems through DV, PV, and production readiness.
This role requires a deep understanding of automotive qualification philosophy, not just test execution. You will be responsible for translating OEM requirements and international standards into defensible test plans, identifying risk early, and ensuring our LiDAR products meet automotive durability, EMC, and functional robustness expectations.
This is a hands-on role with high accountability, direct interaction with OEMs and third-party labs, and strong influence on hardware design decisions.
