About the Position We are looking for an experienced natural gas analyst to help our team develop our existing fundamental-driven trading. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing deep insight into the European and/or Global gas market, driving and owning modelling and associated trading strategy.

The Role

sits within the global Commodity team, which covers a wide range of products and strategy types within Jane Street’s core quantitative trading strategy. The right person will have a strong fundamental background in natural gas and enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

About You

3+ years of professional experience in analyzing European natural gas fundamentals Exposure to building part or all of the Global LNG S&D balance is a plus Strong analytical capabilities Experience with oil or gas physical markets is beneficial Proficiency in statistics Coding skills are a plus Fluency in English required If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to agency-partnerships@janestreet.com.
