At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate to join our PwC Kazakhstan's Chinese Business Group (CBG), supporting Chinese clients investing and operating across Kazakhstan. The role combines business development and project coordination and support.

Key Responsibilities.

• Coordinate and support local teams to work with Chinese clients, including interpretation and translation support.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, client materials, and market research(news/ targets search etc.).
• Support client visits, events etc.

Requirements

• Major in business, finance, economics, law, or related fields is preferred.
• Relevant working experience is preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese with good English and Kazakh/Russian lan. ability is preferred.
• Communication skills / Business development skills.
• Experience working with Chinese companies, investors, or cross-border projects is preferred.
