UiPath Future Forward Hackathon 2026 - what's it about?

Step into a challenge where curiosity, creativity, and technical skills come together. Your mission: turn an idea into a working solution and see how far you can take it.

You’ll have 24 hours to explore, experiment, build, and put your technical knowledge to the test, with guidance and insights from experienced UiPath mentors along the way.

As for the theme? We’re keeping that a surprise. You’ll discover your challenge when the hackathon begins.

📅 Date: November 13-14

⏰ Duration: The event will take place over two full days, November 13-14. It will start with a briefing on the rules and way of working, followed by meal breaks provided throughout the event. Teams will then have 24 hours dedicated to working together on the challenges. The event will conclude with pitching sessions, jury deliberation, and the awards ceremony.

👥 Who can join: Teams of a minimum of 3, up to 5 students, currently enrolled in technical degrees or with a strong interest in software engineering and development.

🏆 Prizes:

• 1st place: Scholarship of 1,000 RON/month for each winning team member (during December 2026 – July 2027)

• 2nd place: A one-time prize of 1,000 RON for each member of the winning team

• 3rd place: A one-time prize of 750 RON for each member of the winning team

🏆 The chance to win big – Compete for exciting prizes that reward both learning and fun: the 1st place team will receive a UiPath scholarship of 1,000 RON/month for each member from December 2026 to July 2027, the 2nd place team will receive a one-time prize of 1,000 RON for each member, and the 3rd place team will receive 750 RON for each member as well.

• Attendance is subject to confirmation due to limited event spots. You will receive an email notification or a phone call if your participation is confirmed.

• All participants must bring their own laptops for the event.

Many of our roles allow for flexibility in when and where work gets done. Depending on the needs of the business and the role, the number of hybrid, office-based, and remote workers will vary from team to team.
