Group Product Manager, APAC [Head of Products, APAC]

This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Senior Product Manager, AI-Native Merchant Experiences

The world's largest businesses run on Adyen. Payments, financial products, and increasingly the commerce workflows around them — money movement, billing, loyalty — flow through a single platform, across dozens of markets and hundreds of payment methods, at a scale most companies never encounter.
That scale comes with complexity, and handling it on our merchants' behalf has always been our mission. But the way people expect to work is changing in real time. The payment operations lead who spent their morning chasing down why a batch of transactions failed now expects to ask a question and get an answer. The analyst who worked a dispute queue case by case now expects the evidence gathered and drafted before they start their work. AI has collapsed the distance between wanting something done and it being done.
This is where you come in.
You'll own the AI assistant that works on a merchant's behalf across Adyen – one that can find and read their data, provide insights, take real actions, and know where its limits are. You'll build some of what it can do yourself, and build the foundation that lets teams across Adyen contribute the rest – reporting and insights, disputes, configurations, and everything that follows. And you'll own how merchants experience these capabilities, as our assistant grows from answering questions to doing the work.
By allowing merchants to operate Adyen themselves – accurately, instantly, at any hour – we’ll enable them to go live faster, get more from our platform, and grow, while we in turn unlock growth for Adyen.

What you’ll do

Set the vision for how merchants will run their business on Adyen through an assistant that works alongside them, and build the multi-quarter strategy that gets us there.

Build AI Assistant capabilities. Decide what it can do on a merchant's behalf and how it strings work together – what it should handle on its own, what it should confirm first, and what it should never touch.

Ship to drive outcomes. Take capabilities from idea to production, and drive measurable results for customers and for Adyen.

Set the bar for quality and safety. Define what good looks like for merchant-facing agentic capabilities at Adyen, and make it something teams can measure themselves against.

Enable teams across Adyen to build into your surface. Get product teams across domains contributing capabilities to a shared foundation, and guide how it comes together.

Galvanize cross-functional teams across product, design, engineering, analytics, commercial, marketing, and legal to move with velocity.

Go deep with customers and data to pressure-test strategic choices and ensure your team is building solutions customers genuinely use and value.

Who you are

AI-Forward Product Sensibility & Experience. Hands-on experience shipping AI-native product experiences to real users – LLM-powered, agentic, conversational, or workflow automation. Strong, opinionated intuition for what "great" looks like in this emerging design space.

A Proven Track Record of Impact. You've built and scaled customer-facing products with material business impact, and you can point to what you personally owned and how you thought about it.

Strategic Thinking. Track record translating customer needs and commercial priorities into multi-quarter product strategies.

Product Execution. Demonstrated ability to drive complex programs spanning multiple teams and ship with velocity.

Excel in Ambiguity. Comfortable taking open-ended, undefined business problems and turning them into clear strategy, sequenced roadmaps, and high-velocity execution.

Analytical Rigor: Set clear metrics and use data to align on priorities, set targets, measure impact, and reset course as needed.

Cross-Organizational Leadership. Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of shared capabilities across teams with their own roadmaps and their own priorities, in a high-autonomy, bottom-up culture.

Simplicity On Top of Complexity. You've shipped clear, simple experiences on top of systems that are genuinely complicated — regulated, high-stakes, unforgiving of error. You go deep enough on the domain to earn simplicity, and you don't pass the complexity on to the customer.

Customer Obsession. Passion for deeply understanding the payment operations, finance, support teams, and more at some of the largest businesses in the world, and understanding what they need to excel and get the most out of our products.

5+ years of experience building customer-facing products in high-growth tech or fintech environments

Optimize the SDLC: Drive initiatives to reduce SDLC friction, such as reducing CI flakiness and improving build insights, to help teams shift from centralized, manual processes to systemic, automated "golden paths".

Drive Product Maturity: Take ownership of product lifecycle management by assessing the maturity of our toolset, executing on necessary deprecations, and ensuring our core products have clear adoption paths and value propositions.

Build Technical Context: Partner with IDP engineering to bridge the gap between generic AI models and Adyen’s complex architecture. You will prioritize the rollout of AGENTS.md standards, internal RAG pipelines, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for tools like GitLab and Jira.

Foster Developer Autonomy: Work across the organization to bridge the gap between infrastructure and developer needs, building "LEGO-block" style abstractions that allow teams to own their pipelines and release cycles while maintaining secure, compliant guardrails.

Validate ROI & Manage Vendors: Implement data-driven feedback loops to track adoption and measure SDLC improvements against core metrics like DXI, Change Failure Rate, and developer velocity

Who you are:

10+ years of product experience ideally within Platform Engineering, Developer Experience (DevEx), or AI-enabled technical products.

You are technically credible. You can confidently spar with engineers about system architecture, CI/CD pipeline constraints, and the balance between centralized governance and team autonomy.

You are a master of change management. You know how to influence developer habits and drive adoption in highly opinionated technical environments.

You are data-driven, capable of translating subjective developer feedback and system/usage data into clear impact metrics.

You thrive in ambiguity. You can execute quickly without waiting for perfect information and adapt quickly to new information

Senior Product Manager, Banking

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Banking (US) to define and scale the next phase of Adyen’s banking strategy in North America. This role owns the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution for Adyen’s US banking capabilities, sitting at the intersection of payments, money movement, platform services, and embedded finance.
Adyen has already built the foundational banking infrastructure — licenses, regulatory approvals, integrations into local clearing systems like ACH, RTP, FedNow. The mandate now is differentiation: defining how Adyen wins in embedded and enterprise banking across the US market.
This is a senior individual contributor role with responsibility for driving outcomes across a globally distributed organization spanning Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Go-To-Market partners.

What you’ll do

Set Vision & Strategy

Define how banking integrates natively with Payments, Capital, and Issuing to create seamless financial workflows.

Drive adoption and attach rates across enterprise and platform customers.

Build for Scale & Regulatory Rigor

Ensure product decisions balance speed, reliability, compliance, and monetization.

Partner closely with Compliance, Risk, and Finance teams to navigate regulatory dependencies impacting US banking growth.

Design capabilities that are scalable, auditable, and resilient in a regulated environment.

Lead Through Influence

Operate as the product authority for US banking, representing the strategy internally and in strategic customer discussions.

Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Commercial, Risk, and Operations teams without direct authority.

Raise the bar for product clarity, prioritization discipline, and strategic thinking within Financial Products.

Who you are

Experience & Scope

8+ years of experience in Product Management or adjacent leadership roles within fintech, banking, embedded finance, or similarly complex, regulated domains.

Proven experience building and scaling US-based banking or financial products that move meaningful transaction volume.

Demonstrated ability to operate at enterprise scale while defining new product frontiers.

Product & Platform Leadership

You are a product leader at heart, with deep experience setting vision, prioritizing roadmaps, and delivering measurable outcomes through cross-functional teams.

You bring a strong analytical and metrics-driven approach to decision-making and trade-offs.

You have experience translating ambiguous strategic problems into structured product direction.

Domain Expertise

Strong understanding of US banking infrastructure, including ACH, wires, checks, bill pay, debit or prepaid products, and embedded finance models.

Experience with Banking-as-a-Service, tech-enabled banks, or integrated financial platforms is highly relevant.

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in US financial services.

Leadership & Collaboration

Track record of influencing senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Risk, Operations, and Commercial functions.

Clear and confident communicator across technical, commercial, and executive audiences in a global context.

Customer-Centric & Principled

Deep customer empathy with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear value propositions.

Demonstrated ethical judgment and integrity in high-stakes, regulated environments.
