Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

In this role, you'd be joining the Alloy Integrations team. We own how Metronome's customers collect payments and recognize revenue. We build and run the integrations that connect Metronome's usage-based billing platform to the systems businesses depend on to get paid: Stripe invoicing and payments, cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud), ERP systems like NetSuite and QuickBooks, and CRM systems like Salesforce. We also bring Stripe products such as Checkout into Metronome, so customers can move from contract to cash in one place.

Our team helps Stripe increase the GDP of the internet by making sure every invoice reaches the right system and every payment is collected and accounted for correctly, at scale. We focus on two areas:

Invoicing: collection, dunning, and invoice delivery

Quote-to-cash automation: connecting the full journey from a signed deal to recognized revenue

What you'll do

You'll build and operate distributed systems that move billing data between Metronome and the platforms our customers use to run their finances. The work combines product engineering and reliability. You'll ship features that customers ask for directly, and you'll strengthen the event-driven pipelines that handle large invoicing spikes every month-end.

You'll work closely with our product manager, with partner engineering teams that own contracts, usage rating, and invoice finalization, with solutions architects who build ERP integrations with customers, and with technical support engineers who work with customers every day. In your first few months, you'll ship a customer-facing improvement to one of our integrations, join the on-call rotation, and take ownership of one of our core systems.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain integrations between Metronome and external billing, payments, marketplace, ERP, and CRM platforms

Build reliable, event-driven systems for invoice delivery, payment workflows, and status sync, with safe retries, rollbacks, and reconciliation

Ship features that help customers control how they invoice, collect, and account for revenue, from design through launch

Improve observability and automated repair across our systems so problems are caught and fixed before customers notice them

Participate in an on-call rotation and lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and follow-up work for the systems the team owns

Plan and carry out migrations and changes to existing integrations without disrupting customer billing

Partner with product, support, solutions architecture, and other engineering teams to scope work and represent customer needs

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

This is a Staff level role, so we typically target 10+ years of professional experience building and operating backend systems in production

Experience designing and integrating with third-party APIs, including handling failures, retries, and data consistency across systems

Experience with distributed or event-driven systems, such as message queues, streams, or workflow engines

Experience owning services in production, including monitoring, on-call, and incident response

Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to engineers and to people outside engineering

Preferred qualifications

Experience with billing, invoicing, payments, tax, or other financial systems where correctness matters

Experience with AWS serverless and data services such as Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, or Step Functions

Familiarity with ERP or CRM platforms such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Salesforce, or with cloud marketplace billing

Experience with GraphQL APIs and relational databases such as Postgres

Experience leading cross-team projects or large migrations

Staff Software Engineer, Alloy Integrations

Product Manager, Global Self-Serve Product

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Global Self-Serve Product team's goal is to make Stripe the #1 self-serve financial infrastructure provider for users outside the U.S. We drive product-led growth for the millions of users who adopt Stripe without a sales relationship, and we own self-serve activation goals across our ex-US business.

We're a cross-functional team of Engineers, Data Scientists, Growth Marketing Managers, Designers, and Product Managers, organized around three focus areas:

Growing our self-serve domestic business across a portfolio of our core, mature markets

Growing cross-border self-serve business across the next wave of emerging markets and launching bespoke registration, onboarding and upsell pathways for new markets

Raising the bar on the quality of the localized experience of our international users by building and improving our localization platform at scale

About the role

Most of Stripe's future users outside the US will never speak to a salesperson—they'll discover, sign up, and scale on Stripe entirely on their own. Getting that self-serve journey right, in every market and language, is one of the biggest growth opportunities ahead of us.

We're looking for a Product Manager to own self-serve activation and growth across our ex-US business. You'll set the strategy for how we win self-serve users in international markets and then make it real—turning funnel data and customer insight into a sequenced roadmap, and shipping the experiments and features that move the metrics.

The right person for this role thinks like a growth PM and a founder: you're fluent in funnels and experimentation, you have genuine taste for 0-to-1 product, and you move fast under ambiguity. You bring deep user empathy to localizing Stripe with contextual relevance, and you think in systems and platforms—turning experimental features into scaled growth levers

What you'll do

Own the self-serve growth roadmap: identify the highest-leverage opportunities to grow activation across our ex-US markets, and build the case for investment

Build a deep understanding of our customers—from bootstrapped solopreneurs to well-funded founders—synthesizing funnel metrics, experiment results, and time in the product into sharp hypotheses about what will drive growth

Partner with engineering to ship—you'll drive specs, prioritization, and execution with a high degree of hands-on involvement, and run experiments to build conviction in your roadmap

Scale what works: take wins proven in small samples and roll them out through our localization and recommendation platforms, so the right experience reaches each market and use case

Collaborate with Stripe's global product teams to ensure regional needs are reflected in platform decisions, and advocate for regional investment at the right moments

Who you are

You have 7+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent shipping 0-to-1 products

You reason from first principles—breaking ambiguous growth problems down to fundamentals, forming a sharp point of view, and moving fast under uncertainty with the ownership of a founder

You're data-savvy: fluent in funnels, metrics, and experimentation, you let the numbers sharpen your instincts, and you know when a test earns conviction and when it only adds noise

You have strong product taste and are technically comfortable—you sweat the details of a localized experience (message clarity, contextual guidance) and can engage credibly with engineers on API design and system tradeoffs

You're an exceptional communicator—verbal and written—who can influence without authority across a matrixed organization

You're based in Singapore or have a strong reason to be

Why Stripe

Stripe is still early in its presence outside the US, which means the person in this role will have genuine influence over how we show up in some of the world's most important emerging markets. You'll have the scope of a startup with the resources of a company that processes hundreds of billions of dollars a year.

Product Manager, Global Self-Serve Product

Stripe’s Accounting Products team is building modern infrastructure for the Office of the CFO. Our vision is to give finance teams, and the agents that support them, one reconciled and explainable presentation of financial truth.

Today, the data and context required to make accounting decisions are fragmented across billing systems, contracts, spreadsheets, general ledgers, and the minds of the people doing the work. Finance teams spend significant time reconstructing what happened, determining the appropriate accounting treatment, reconciling results, and gathering evidence. Giving an agent access to the underlying data is not enough: it also needs the business context, accounting policies, approved judgments, and guardrails required to act reliably.

Revenue Recognition is our first major proof point. Stripe has a unique opportunity to help Billing and Metronome users turn complex revenue activity—including usage-based pricing, minimum commitments, credits, and contract modifications—into accurate, explainable journal entries. Our ambition is for agents to take on the investigation, configuration, and repetitive work while accountants retain control over consequential judgments and approvals.

Over time, we expect to expand into additional Office of the CFO workflows, and we are looking for a Staff Product Manager to help turn this vision into products that finance teams trust. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant ownership, autonomy, and influence across Product, Engineering, Design, Finance, Data Science, and Go-to-Market teams.

What you’ll do

You’ll own a significant product area within Accounting Products, setting its strategy, roadmap, and measures of success. You’ll translate the broader product vision into a focused plan, taking it from customer discovery and early prototypes through scaled adoption.

You’ll help build the future of agentic accounting: products that help finance teams automate work, understand financial results, and resolve exceptions while retaining control. Your work will connect Stripe’s Revenue Suite with the external systems customers rely on to manage their accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

Define a focused product strategy, initial customer market, and roadmap, making explicit choices about where Stripe has an advantage, what to prioritize, and what not to build, and revising those choices as evidence changes

Work directly with controllers, accountants, finance leaders, auditors, and implementation partners to understand accounting workflows, including month-end close, and translate customer problems into clear product requirements

Define how humans and agents work together to configure accounting policies, explain results, investigate exceptions, and propose or execute resolutions, with appropriate review, approvals, controls, and audit trails

Shape Revenue Recognition for Stripe Billing and Metronome users, supporting accurate journal entries and revenue schedules for usage-based pricing, credits, minimum commitments, contract modifications, and other complex business models

Build products that are accurate, explainable, and operationally reliable, with results traceable to source activity, accounting treatment, and supporting evidence, and measure success through accurate closes, accepted outputs, time savings, reliable general-ledger handoffs, adoption, and retention

Take products from prototype to scale with design partners, deciding what to standardize, automate, or keep narrow, and define integrations with general ledgers, ERP, customer relationship management, and professional-services platforms

Align senior stakeholders and partner with Billing, Metronome, Tax, Payments, and other teams to make financial results consistent across products, raising the quality of product thinking through clear writing, sound judgment, and constructive challenge

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

10+ years of product management experience delivering complex, technically or domain-intensive products, including as a senior individual contributor who independently sets direction, aligns cross-functional teams, and drives decisions without formal authority

Experience building products for finance, accounting, or similarly demanding domains where accuracy, controls, traceability, and trust are essential, with a high bar for correctness, explainability, reliability, and operability

Strong customer instincts and experience working directly with specialized users to uncover underlying needs and translate domain complexity into coherent products, supported by an understanding of complex systems, data models, APIs, integrations, and technical tradeoffs

Strong strategic judgment and experience taking products from ambiguity to execution: identifying differentiated advantages, defining initial markets, sequencing multi-year opportunities, and connecting strategy to detailed requirements, data analysis, and delivery

Excellent written and verbal communication and collaborative leadership across technical, business, and go-to-market teams, with the ability to clarify complex problems, align stakeholders, surface risks, and make or revise decisions as evidence changes in high-stakes environments

Preferred qualifications

Experience building accounting products for controllers, accounting teams, or other users in the Office of the CFO

Working knowledge of revenue recognition under ASC 606 or IFRS 15, particularly for usage-based pricing, variable consideration, minimum commitments, credits, and contract modifications

Experience building AI or agent-powered products that investigate information, explain recommendations, or take action within defined controls and human review or approval workflows

Familiarity with general ledgers and ERP systems, such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero, including the integrations and operational processes needed to transfer and reconcile financial results

An accounting background CPA qualification, or experience partnering closely with accounting policy, controllership, or audit teams

About the team

Storage Integrations, part of Money Movement Integrations, builds and operates the connections between Stripe and our banking and financial technology partners. Our systems help businesses receive, hold, and move money through Stripe’s financial accounts and treasury products. We turn differences between financial partners into reliable capabilities that other Stripe teams can build on.

In this role you’ll work with engineering, product, and financial operations partners across Stripe. We build new integrations, extend existing ones to support new use cases, and develop shared components that make each integration easier to build and operate.

What you’ll do

You’ll work primarily on backend systems, with end-to-end ownership across partner integrations, shared infrastructure, and product APIs and workflows. Full-stack work here means following a feature across these layers to deliver a usable capability. You’ll coordinate designs and reviews with the teams that own each layer.

You’ll identify problems worth solving, scope and deliver projects with limited oversight, and help keep the systems you build reliable in production. Along the way, you’ll learn how money moves through financial networks and grow your impact across Stripe’s Money as a Service organization, with support from teammates and partner teams.

Responsibilities

Work across integration, platform, and product layers to make new capabilities available through consistent APIs and workflows, coordinating designs and reviews with the teams that own those systems

Develop reusable components and tooling that reduce duplicated work across integrations and make future development and maintenance simpler

Build for financial correctness, security, and reliability through automated tests, monitoring, and safe handling of failures

Participate in the team’s on-call rotation after onboarding, investigate production issues across services, and improve runbooks and automation to prevent recurring problems

Proficiency in Java or Ruby, or equivalent backend programming experience, including writing maintainable code and automated unit and integration tests

Experience independently scoping and delivering software projects, making technical tradeoffs, and seeking input when needed

Experience debugging distributed services across RPC APIs, asynchronous workflows, and persistent data, using technologies such as gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and Temporal or equivalent systems; understanding of retries, idempotency, and failure recovery

Ability to explain technical decisions clearly, collaborate across teams, and learn unfamiliar systems to deliver a solution

Preferred qualifications

About the team

AI agents are increasingly building Stripe integrations alongside professional developers and vibe coders. To build and test these integrations safely, without affecting live accounts or moving real funds, agents require isolated sandbox environments.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end product experience for Stripe Sandboxes and the broader testing platform, guiding the journey from a developer's first sandbox creation to an agent validating complex payment flows at scale.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous concepts clearly and from first principles

Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different functions, stakeholders, and subject matter experts

Preferred qualifications

You enjoy using social media to interact directly with customers for feedback

Software Engineer, Operator Tooling

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Stripe's mission depends on the trust of the businesses that run on us. Internal Identity builds the infrastructure that keeps access to Stripe's systems secure: strong authentication and authorization that stays out of people's way. We decide how every engineer, service, and AI agent at Stripe gets access to what it needs, and nothing more.

We're building the next generation of authorization at Stripe. It reasons about how people, services, and resources relate to each other, and it enforces policy consistently everywhere. We’re actively making the secure path the easiest one for every team at Stripe. The technical challenges we’re solving include building systems with 99.999%+ availability, expanding authorization controls to model agents as first-class identities, and making authorization policy authorship more approachable. Engineers here own big problems end to end and work closely with teams across the company.

Internal Identity is largely a distributed team with a small presence in-person in Seattle.

What you'll do

We’re looking for an engineer who is passionate about addressing tough problems in the authorization space. This role is critical, not only for Stripe, but for the future of the commercial internet.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain reliable, performant and scalable authorization infrastructure (e.g. libraries, frameworks, services).

Build comprehensive understanding of authorization needs of our users (e.g. product teams and infrastructure teams).

Build comprehensive, easy-to-use, and policy driven authorization solutions.

Collaborate with our users to adopt our authorization solutions to protect their resources by providing a great user experience.

Build access visibility and continuous policy governance to empower resource owners, legal and compliance to put risk of inappropriate access under control.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

2-5 years of professional hands-on software development experience

Experience in the security domain

Strong communication and cross-functional skills; drives clear next steps when there aren’t clear lines of ownership

Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones; have a good intuition for what is lasting and scalable.

Good product sense; able to seek out requirements from dependent teams and align them with business needs

Preferred qualifications

Experience in the identity and authorization domain

Experience with Go, Java or Ruby
