If you're excited about building category-defining products and helping healthcare providers thrive, we'd love to meet you. Role Overview Torch is growing fast, and we’re looking for a hands-on Customer Experience Operations (CXO) Manager to be the driving force behind our CXO organization. This is a role for someone who loves being in the thick of it: someone who sees a messy workflow and can’t help but fix it. As CXO Manager, you’ll set the direction for the team every day, own workflow performance, and untangle cross-functional challenges before they become problems. You’ll have real autonomy to solve things on your own, along with the judgment to know when to pull in leadership. You’ll partner directly with our supplier, engineering, and product teams, shaping how customers experience Torch at every touch point. And because we’re scaling quickly, this role comes with real ownership and you’ll shape how it evolves. As the team grows, so will your scope, with genuine opportunities to step into broader leadership. Responsibilities Keep Operations Running Smoothly: Track team performance and key metrics, spot issues early, and dig into the data to find what’s really driving them. Turn Insight into Action: Build clear plans with owners and priorities, and lead the team to execute them. Fix Problems at the Source: Solve recurring issues, rework the SOPs and guides that stop them for good. Drive Quarterly Goals: Own the progress of key projects, flag risks early and keep work on schedule. Be the Go-To Partner: Serve as the trusted point of contact for your team and cross-functional partners Requirements
<ul>
<li>3+ years of work experience in operations, business operations, consulting or high-growth tech</li>
<li>Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring others with a track record of giving clear direction, setting expectations and helping others grow</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and experience using data to root-cause problems, make decisions and set goals</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in a customer facing role, including managing client relationships and communications</li>
<li>Ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate them into clear plans for yourself and more junior team members</li>
<li>A customer-minded bias for action: you take ownership and move quickly, while weighing what’s best for the practices we serve</li>
<li>High attention to detail and ability to not only simplify and improve complex workflows but also scale change across the team.</li>
<li>Experience with SQL, Looker, Apps Script or Python a plus.</li>
</ul>
Benefits
<ul>
<li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and wellness benefits</li>
<li>401(k)</li>
<li>Flexible PTO and family leave</li>
<li>Opportunities for rapid advancement and input at the highest organizational levels</li>
</ul>

Customer Experience Operations Manager

<div>
About Torch Dental
Torch Dental is a high-growth, venture-backed vertical SaaS company transforming how dental practices run their businesses. Our mission is to give every dental office the modern software, automation, and visibility they need to operate efficiently and profitably.&nbsp;
We are launching our second product in 2026 and will be expanding into the broader practice-operations layers such as Revenue Cycle Management, Finance, HR, payroll, benefits, and back-office workflows—building toward a full dental practice operating system.
Torch Dental is at the Series B stage with strong revenue growth, rapidly expanding products, and a profitable core business. As an RCM Customer Success Manager you’ll play a critical role in shaping the customer experience for our AI-powered revenue cycle management product, partnering closely with dental practices to drive successful adoption, deliver measurable outcomes and help build the foundation for how we scale RCM Customer Success.&nbsp;
About the role
Torch Revenue Cycle Management is Torch Dental's second product: an AI-enabled revenue cycle management platform that helps dental practices. We're launching the product to single practices, multi-location groups and emerging DSOs. We're hiring our first dedicated Customer Success Manager for this product to own the customer relationship end-to-end: from kickoff and payer/PMS setup, through go-live, through ongoing retention and expansion.
What you'll do
<ul style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; padding-inline-start: 48px;">
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Own onboarding for new RCM customers: lead kickoff calls, and guide practices through going live and continuing to engage with the platform.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Be the primary point of contact for a growing book of RCM accounts — spanning solo practices, groups, and emerging DSOs — through go-live, steady-state usage, and renewal.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Be the customer's advocate internally: feed structured feedback to Product and Engineering on integration issues, payer coverage gaps, and workflow pain points, and to Sales on expansion and DSO opportunities.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Help build the playbook: since this is a new, high-touch, fast-scaling function, you'll help define onboarding scripts, health-score criteria, and escalation processes as much as execute them.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Partner closely with the RCM sales, product, and billing-ops team during the handoff from sales-closed to customer-live, and take that ownership off their plates.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Handle the compliance-sensitive parts of onboarding correctly — BAAs, PMS credentials, payer portal access — in a HIPAA-aware way.
</li>
</ul>
What we're looking for
Required:
<ul style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; padding-inline-start: 48px;">
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
3–5+ years in a customer success, account management, or implementation role, ideally in a startup or fast-scaling SaaS environment.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Comfort operating in ambiguity: this is a first-of-its-kind role at Torch, without an existing playbook, on a product that is itself still early and evolving.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be explaining claims and billing concepts to dental office staff and translating customer workflows back to engineering and product.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Strong tech competency -- you will be working directly with customers on integrating several solutions and will need to do basic tech implementation. You should feel comfortable with tech and learning new solutions.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Process-builder mindset: comfortable creating and iterating on onboarding scripts, health-score frameworks, and escalation paths rather than inheriting a mature one.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Familiarity with dental practice management systems (Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or similar) is a strong plus; comfort learning new PMS and payer systems quickly is required.
</li>
</ul>
Nice to have:
<ul style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; padding-inline-start: 48px;">
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Background as a dental or medical biller, RCM specialist, or practice manager.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Direct, hands-on experience with dental or medical billing / revenue cycle workflows — you know what an EOB, ERA, clearinghouse, and payer portal are, and ideally have touched claims submission or payment posting yourself.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Experience supporting healthcare or dental customers through a HIPAA-regulated onboarding process (BAAs, PHI handling).
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM for account and health tracking.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #222222; margin-left: -9pt;">
Experience working with DSOs (dental support organizations) or multi-location group practices.
</li>
</ul>

Customer Success Manager, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

<h3 style="margin-top: 12pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;">About Us</h3>
Torch Dental is a high-growth startup on a mission to empower healthcare providers starting with the $100B+ dental market. We’re building a new AI powered Revenue Cycle Management product from the ground up to transform how dental practices get paid. Insurance claims today involve significant manual work across follow up, payment posting, and reconciliation. We believe much of that work can be automated, and we’re building the product to make that possible. We also operate a Marketplace that modernizes dental supply procurement with transparent pricing and a seamless online purchasing experience.
Backed by $50M+ from premier investors like Bessemer, American Express, Health Velocity Capital and Felicis, we are a mission-driven team dedicated to solving tangible problems for small business owners. We prioritize customer obsession and a bias for action, fostering a collaborative culture where every engineer is encouraged to take ownership and deliver meaningful impact.
<h3 style="margin-top: 12pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;">The Role</h3>
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who leans frontend to build our RCM product while also contributing to our established Marketplace. You'll spend the majority of your time building the experiences dental practice owners and their teams use every day, while owning features end to end across the stack.
We care deeply about customers and the product experience. You'll work closely with product, business stakeholders, and other engineers to understand customer problems, shape solutions, and ship experiences that feel simple and intuitive.
We expect AI to be part of how you build. Project planning , driving implementation with coding agents, and reviewing output with the same rigor you'd apply to a teammate's pull request. Our interview process reflects this. During the onsite, you'll build on your own laptop using your own AI tools and setup, so we can see how you actually work.
<h3 style="margin-top: 12pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;">Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; padding-inline-start: 48px;">
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">
Build fast, well-structured frontend experiences in React and TypeScript
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">
Own features end-to-end — from component and state management through API integration and deployment.
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">
Contribute to backend APIs using Python and FastAPI
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into clean, usable interfaces
</li>

Mentor other engineers and advocate for frontend quality across the team
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">
Navigate two distinct frontend contexts — our RCM product is a React/TypeScript SPA; our Marketplace app is Django server-rendered with bundled JS
</li>
</ul>
<h3 style="margin-top: 12pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;">What We're Looking For</h3>
<ul style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; padding-inline-start: 48px;">

Hands-on experience with TanStack Router and TanStack Query (or strong opinions about routing and data fetching you're ready to apply)
</li>

Familiarity with Zod and schema-driven API clients
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">
Familiarity with TanStack Router and TanStack Query (our RCM product's stack)
</li>

Background in B2B SaaS or workflow-heavy products
</li>
<li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">
Healthcare or dental industry experience
</li>
