The Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer supports the governance and security of data within the Fabric platform to ensure it is prepared for analytics and AI workloads.
This role applies Microsoft Purview and Fabric’s built-in governance features to support security, compliance, and data quality standards on all data and reports. Work includes implementing data classification, access controls and data loss prevention policies under established guidelines.
The Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer will assist with monitoring how Copilot driven activity affects capacity and performance across Fabric workloads and support adjustments that maintain stable operations. Through consistent governance, scalable design and strong platform stewardship, the engineer contributes to a reliable and AI ready environment that supports high quality data and analytics outcomes.
